On Tuesday, we got to work with our reading buddies from 4th grade! We worked on some plump and perky turkeys and then read to each other. It was a blast!

Happy Election Day!!

Yesterday and today we discussed the President, his (or her!) jobs, and today's election.  We read about Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and then held our own mock election!

One little guy, when asked what the President does, said to me, "The President speaks to the Union." I loved it!

The fun and excitement of Halloween is over and brings us into our Thanksgiving season!  In a few weeks we will our Friendship Feast! We will be discussing family, friends, and the importance of sticking together and helping others.  We will also be learning about the Native Americans and Pilgrims.  Here are some of the leveled centers we will be working on!
